Management comprises planning, organizing, staffing, leading or directing, and controlling an organization (a group of one or more people or entities) or effort for the purpose of accomplishing a goal. In order to accomplish all these, certain skill sets and knowledge for each function is needed. In this case, there are four options to specialize in to know more about the skill sets. The options are Customer Relationship Management, Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, and Human Resource Management.
Customer Relationship Management: Widely-implemented strategy for managing a company’s interactions with customers, clients and sales prospects. It involves using technology to organize, automate, and synchronize business processes—principally sales activities, but also those for marketing, customer service, and technical support. You will learn about handling customers, managing their emotions and detecting the change in purchase.

Retail Management: Paralleling the growth of travel and tourism and rising affluence is the rapid growth of the Retail industry. This is particularly visible in the bewildering array and turnover of goods in what is called the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and the high fashion market. People all over the world are shopping like never before. You will learn about Merchandise Buying, Retail Visual Merchandising, Retail Promotion & Branding, International Marketing & Retailing and Retail Informatics.

Supply Chain Management: Management of a network of interconnected businesses involved in the ultimate provision of product and service packages required by end customers. Supply chain management spans all movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption (supply chain). You will learn about Merchandise Planning, Forecasting of Demand, Stocking and Procurement.

Human Resource Management: The strategic and coherent approach to the management of an organization's most valued assets - the people working there who individually and collectively contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the business. Human resources are also the name of the function within an organization charged with the overall responsibility for implementing strategies and policies relating to the management of individuals. You will learn about Business Law, Human Resource Management and Practices and Employee Relations.
